Hall linear position switch
A Hall cell is used to sense the magnetic fi eld created bya magnet fi xed to the moving part. The magnetic fi eld
strength depends on the linear position of the magnet.
The switch produces a binary output signal depending on
whether the magnetic fi eld strength exceeds a threshold
or not.
